“Just A Little Boy“

As a little boy not ready for school yet but my two older brothers were off to school, dad was off to work so that left my mother & me at home well, every morning I would eat my breakfast, then hurry into mom & dad’s bedroom and drag dad’s Gibson guitar out of the case and drag it across the floor.

I would prop it up onto the side of the bed, then push the guitar onto the bed, go to the foot of the bed and climb up and begin to play. Only I didn’t know any chords until my mom who had heard enough started teaching me chords.

From that point I was on my way playing my three little chords that my little fat fingers could make. Later on my dad would take me to schools and I would play & sing to the children.

That was the beginning and I’m seventy years old and I still have the love of playing and teach myself every day.

If a little three year old can do it…….so can you!
